The Bible.

1. The Bible is a book of many books.
2. The Bible was not written by God.
3. The Bible was not written in English.
4. The Bible was not written yesterday.
5. The Bible is not a histroy text book.
6. The Bible was put together by a committee.
7. Recent translations are better than older ones.
8. The Bible is not a science text book.
9. Don't get distracted by the special effects.
10. We do not read the Bible to learn about the Bible. We read the Bible to learn from the Bible how to know God more clearly, love Christ more dearly, and follow the Way ofJesus more nearly.
